Salary:

Base: $17 -  $22 /hour (based on experience)

Shift Premium: $1/hour

 

Summary:  

Sets up and operates machine tools such as (compression molding presses, blenders, ovens, routing machines etc).  Must be able to read and follow work instructions.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Able to read job order for product specifications such as tooling instructions, fixtures, and equipment settings.   

  • Selects, positions, and secures tool in tool holder  

  • Moves controls to position press and work piece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds, and pressures. 

  • Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of work piece to specifications.

Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent  

  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
