Production Coordinator

Dover Precision Components is seeking a Production Coordinator for our Cook Compression brand, located at our South Houston/ Pearland, TX facility.  We offer competitive pay and benefits, career advancement opportunities, and the ability to be a key Supply Chain team member at our innovative, ISO certified manufacturing facility. WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role, you will work with many functions throughout the business to coordinate work centers and materials required for production. This will include partnering with engineering, purchasing, sales and manufacturing to ensure accurate routing of work orders. Specific responsibilities include:

• Review and execute routers and releases to customer service with necessary prints.
• Print engineering drawings and confirm that routing is accurate in Syteline system.
• Reconcile missing information or changes to routing to include conferring with operations manager, sales department or other impacted functions.
• Adjust schedules and routings as required to meet delivery schedules.
• Confer with sales for updates on order delays.
• Coordinate with supply chain on material issues.
• Participate in process improvement and Lean Manufacturing efforts to include process suggestions, documentation, and coordination of changes.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude to learn the technical nature of products.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel- to include linking, formulas, reporting, and data analysis.
• Possess a strong sense of urgency and flexibility to adhere to continually changing demands and adjust production plans to meet the demands as needed.
• Excellent communication skills with strong experience collaborating with others.

ALSO GREAT IF YOU BRING/ PREFERENCES

• Syteline ERP experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environment in similar supply chain or operations related role. 
• APICS certification.
