Position Summary: 

3rd Eye is the leading manufacturer in safety products for corporate fleets across North America with national accounts in several industries including: distribution / logistics, municipalities, solid waste and environmental services, emergency vehicles, public transportation, construction, heavy equipment, armored transport, etc. 3rd Eye Cam, a division of 3rd Eye is growing rapidly with SAAS based subscription contracts. Video Reviewer II position will work closely with the Product Development Team to improve video analytics by accurately tagging and coding video frames as well as create and manage the online database of video findings.  

 

Roles and Key Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrate learning attitude to train and adapt quickly to ongoing demands. 
  2. Point of knowledge for complex video analytics documentation project including training others as development continues.   
  3. Must have good organizational skills and be highly detail oriented.
  4. Exercises a high to moderate degree of judgment.
  5. Must be a self-starter, work on your own initiative and with others as a team player.
  6. Ability to extract I-frames or video compressions from videos for detailed inspection which includes the ability to convert MP4 files into jpeg format. 
  7. Ability to code individual video frames accurately and consistently for multiple classifications for advanced video analytics and product development.
  8. Create and manage online database of video code findings.
  9. Requires ability to read, comprehend and follow complicated verbal instructions, use planning skills to organize work processes and be able to communicate effectively with the team and internal/external partners via telephone, email, and Skype.
  10. Work remotely from a home office. 
  11. Ability to travel as needed to corporate offices for development meetings and trainings. 
  12. Demonstrated ability to perform Video Reviewer I responsibilities at a high level which includes:
    1. Complete understanding of 3rd Eye Cam scoring system definitions and expectations along with an understanding of posted road signs (i.e., speed limit, stop sign, etc.).
    2. Demonstrates the ability to review and submit scoring infractions in an accurate and efficient manner.
    3. Ability to identify potential inconsistencies in the 3rd Eye Cam system and generate feedback via the 3rd Eye Cam Web Portal to supervisors.
  13. Performs other various duties as may be assigned.

 

Job Specifications:

  1. Requires a High School Diploma, GED or Work Keys Assessment.  Bachelors or Associates Degree a plus. 
  2. Minimum of 1 year of experience as Video Reviewer I. 
  3. 3 or more years of work experience in an office environment
  4. Must have strong computer skills including the ability to create directories and data set organization and be well versed in all Microsoft programs.
  5. Must be able to communicate with a variety of administrative and professional team member within and outside the organization.
  6. Internet access to 3rd Eye Web Portal, Online File-sharing program, and Skype for communication with product development.
  7. Ongoing training both online and in person for complete understanding of current and future enhancements in the system.

 

Requirements:

Education: Requires a High School Diploma, GED or Work Keys Assessment.  Bachelors or Associates Degree a plus. 

Knowledge: Requires ability to understand general arithmetic; ability to write in an understandable manner; understand verbal or written instructions; ability to read and understand instructions, lists and billing materials; use PC based applications, including Mainstar, Outlook, and Microsoft Office, knowledge normally acquired through high school or equivalent experience.

Mental: Requires normal attention with periods of high concentration intermittently to operate machinery approximately 50% of time.

Physical: Requires walking/standing approximately 70%, lifting up to 40 pounds approximately 15% of time; involves repetitive overhead work approximately 10% of time; involves repetitive stooping, forward bending and crouching approximately 5% of time.

Manual Dexterity: Requires use of hands, arms, and feet for repetitive lifting; use of hands and arms to operate all manufacturing equipment, meters, chains hoists, automatic drills, and general hand tools and to record written information.

Audible Demands: Requires ability to follow verbal instructions and to hear for safety purposes.

Visual: Requires the ability to visually observe essential functions for satisfactory job performance and safety; color and depth perception required.

Environmental: Involves exposure to plant environments with the presence of dust, fumes, noise, and fluctuating temperatures due to lack of climate control.
