Supply Chain Production Coordinator

Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Production Coordinator will work with various functions throughout the business to coordinate work centers and materials required for production. This will include partnering with engineering, purchasing, sales and manufacturing to ensure accurate routing of work orders.


  • Receives orders from sales department to create routing for parts distribution
  • Reviews and executes routers and releases to customer service with necessary prints
  • Prints engineering drawings and confirms that routing is accurate in Syteline system
  • Reconciles missing information or changes to routing to include conferring with operations manager, sales department or other impacted functions
  • Assigns materials to routers utilizing the cook standards.
  • Adjusts schedules and routings as required to meet delivery schedules.
  • Confers with sales for updates on order delays.
  • Coordinates with supply chain on material issues.
  • Monitor SQL reports Parent Closed Sub Jobs open, Job operations complete no materials issued and make necessary changes in Syteline.
  • Monitor Pending job labor and material transactions forms in Syteline.  Make necessary corrections in Syteline to post transactions.
  • Monitor unposted job transactions and make necessary corrections in Syteline so the transactions will post.
  • Make sure all materials have been issued and the quantities completed are correct prior to closing each suffix of a job.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and root cause investigations on missing inventory.
  • Other related duties as assigned.



  • Must have the mechanical aptitude to learn the technical nature of company products
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; be a strong user of Excel
  • Must have a sense of urgency
  • Must be extremely flexible to adjust to continually changing demands and adjust production plan to meet the demands


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work closely with several departments to ensure routing accuracy
  • Syteline/ERP experience is a plus
