Technical Sales Support
Job Summary
Support the Sales organization and customers in technical and commercial matters to drive business processes in cooperation and guidance from the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the data and information stored in the CRM system, logging activities, updating records reports and dashboards.
- Drive operational excellence through data stored in the CRM system, for instance targeting competitors through competitive data stored in the CRM system.
- Execute sales process from RFQ to order (product selection for defined applications and existing part numbers, pricing and quoting).
- Interact with customers at all levels and work in partnership to translate needs into functional actions and activities.
- Establish pricing levels or Pricing models for existing customers and follow up on issued quotes.
- Basic commercial and technical support for internal and external customers, product selections for defined applications, assist with the customizing processes, pricelists and quoting.
- Act as SWEP representative at customers, exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and relevant events.
- Actively participate in internal and external projects.
- When applicable, provide trainings in own field of expertise to other colleagues.
- Handle line claims due to sales as defined.
- Provide support for customer inquiries, such as drawing requests, approval documentation, and environmental documentation.
- Propose and draft customer logistic solutions and stock agreements.
- Handle and assist in price revisions in Salesforce and Oracle according to established customer agreements
Requirements
- High School Diploma with technical training.
- Technical background
- 2 years’ experience in professional sales and/or service industry or previous Customer Support role.
- Advanced Microsoft Office
- Experience of CRM/ERP systems - Salesforce and Oracle preferred
- Advaced English verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-oriented with service minded approach
- Proactive, positive, and result-oriented team player with an interest in technical and commercial matters
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to cooperate and communicate with many different layers and cultures
- Works well in an international environment.
