Position Summary:   

Responsible for warranty work for all 3rd Eye Cam products.  Additional responsibilities will include assisting with 3rd Eye QA team as required and 3rd Eye configuration and testing as required.


Roles and Key Responsibilities:

  1. Receive and document all warranty and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests from the field.
  2. Receive all incoming shipments for returns and warranties.
  3. Manage inventory for all warrantied products.
  4. Inspect, test, and perform necessary repairs on all warranty products.
  5. Prepare all replacement products to customers or technicians.
  6. Proficient computer skills necessary with experience or ability to learn NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, and Go Canvas.
  7. Drive a forklift and pass certification course.
  8. Must be able to lift minimum up to 40 pounds repetitively.
  9. Perform housekeeping duties as necessary to keep work area safe, clean and in good order.
  10. Must be a self-starter with a “can do” attitude and looking to be a team player with drive to learn more.
  11. Safe work habits are a must.



Education:  High School graduate. Associates Degree in electronics or a related field from an accredited technical school or college desired.

Experience:  Minimum of one year experience in a related field or industry.  Desired experience with the disassembly, testing, repair, and assembly of commercial electronics including LED Monitors, CCD Cameras, and 12V knowledge.

Knowledge: Requires ability to understand general arithmetic; ability to write in an understandable manner; understand verbal or written instructions; ability to read and understand instructions, lists and billing materials; use PC based applications, including Outlook, and Microsoft Office, knowledge normally acquired through high school or equivalent experience.

Mental: Requires normal attention with periods of high concentration intermittently to operate machinery approximately 25% of time.

Physical: Requires walking/standing approximately 70%, lifting up to 40 pounds approximately 15% of time; involves repetitive overhead work approximately 10% of time; involves repetitive stooping, forward bending and crouching approximately 5% of time.

Manual Dexterity: Requires use of hands, arms and feet for repetitive lifting; use of hands and arms to operate testing equipment, meters, automatic drills, general hand tools and to record written information.

Audible Demands: Requires ability to follow verbal instructions and to hear for safety purposes.

Visual: Requires the ability to visually observe essential functions for satisfactory job performance and safety; color and depth perception required.

Environmental: Involves exposure to plant environments with the presence of dust, fumes, noise, and fluctuating temperatures due to lack of climate control.


General Summary:  Electronics Technician, Material handling, receiving, driving forklift, and warehouse order processing.
