Working Arrangement: Onsite based.

 

As a Certificate Engineer, you will:

Gather and maintain expert knowledge of SWEPs product and process certification and approval requirements. Engage and partner with 3rd parties to provide timely certification and approval. 

Certificate Engineer represents SWEP towards Certification 3rd parties, RTPO`s, works out documentation and cooperate with 3rd parties to ensure correctness of certificates and approvals, engages with and coordinate cross functional teams and activities for timely certification.

 

Role is responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of 3rd party certification and approvals according to required standards.
  • Executing on strategic projects related to 3rd party certification and approvals (e.g. New marine approvals project, ASME plant certification).
  • Developing and maintaining approval SharePoint site.
  • Executing and implementing improvements in the certification and approval processes (i.e. AP request handling).
  • Coordination and planning of approval testing based on Certification requirements.
  • Hosting and guiding 3rd party certification representative at SWEP, during certification and, or approval witness testing.

 

We are looking for candidates ideally demonstrating:

 

  • Experience in communication with NoBo (Notified Bodies)
  • Experienc with product and, or service approvals
  • Knowledge of ISO, EN standards
  • Knowledge of PED and ASME

 

You also have:

  • University degree or comparable education in technical engineering
  • English language skills – fluent in verbal and in writing
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office software and basic understanding of calculation tools
