Are you an experienced engineer in the chemical industry and team management, with global background in deploying production lines, passionate in providing innovative manufacturing solutions?

 

In this role you’ll … as part of a global process Process Engineering team, you’ll have a strategic role by defining and implementing innovative manufacturing solutions for our ink’s and you’ll manage local PE team.

 

You’ll have an opportunity to…  provide engineering expertise, build best in class solutions, and have an impact at a global level - working hand in hand on projects with supply chain and Research & Development.

 

You should possess… a minimum of 10 years’ experience in process/manufacturing engineering for complex industrial products in the chemical industry – team management experience

 

Principal Activities / Duties / Responsibilities:

• Manage locally PE team, focusing on inks process but coordinating printers manufacturing ad hoc (Matrix structure)

• Coordinate with Engineering, Sales and Operations teams to design and develop cost effective processes to scale-up and transition new products into manufacturing

• Participate in design reviews and input on Design for Manufacturability

• Work closely with the manufacturing team to support the operational activity and implement solutions to increase the production line capacity and quality – Continuous improvement

• Identify, prepare justifications, and execute capital projects of varying degrees of complexity

• Define process parameters and develop manufacturing instructions and standard operating procedures

• Stay abreast of new process engineering methodologies and manufacturing technologies in order to provide expertise during research/new product introduction phase and for current products

• Identify and implement required skillset through Global PE team – focus on chemical process and special machines

• Provide transition training to manufacturing personnel for introduction of new or changes to processes to insure manufacturing capability

• Support the Quality Systems and Health, Environmental, Safety Programs by following procedures and mentoring others

• Represent supply chain and manage stage gate new product development projects

• Exercise good analytical skills and sound judgment to assess/mitigate risks, and develop and implement solutions under minimal supervision

• Work in a global environment across multiple disciplines for effective strategic implementation

 

Education and/or Experience Required:

• Engineering degree in chemical engineering with a minimum 10 years’ experience in industrial process engineering in the chemical industry

• Team management experience in Global Matrix environment

• Master´s Degree in Engineering (chemical) preferred

• Mandatory successful development of manufacturing automated processes

• Experience in project management with cross-functional/global team members

• Methodologies’ : Six Sigma, Lean, DFM/DFA, PFMEA, DOE, etc.

• Fluent in English and good level of French is a plus

• Availability to travel internationally 15-20%
