The Role

 

For the commercial Division of Markem-Imaje we’re hiring a Project management manager responsible for the management and delivery of solution projects across the Americas region. To be successful within this role, you should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills coupled with a customer first focus. You shall be well organized with a strong background in successful project management delivery managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

 

Remote- can be based almost anywhere on the East coast.

 

What you will do:

  • Responsible for all project management activity across the Americas region for the portfolio of Markem-imaje products
  • Ensure project delivery on time and within budget
  • Support and deliver Turnkey solutions in line with customer needs
  • Manage a team of Program managers, Senior Project Managers and Project Managers
  • Support continued organization development in line with business growth
  • Communicate on portfolio of projects in flight and manage escalations as required 
  • Support lessons learned program and support continuous improvement of project delivery
  • Train and coach team to further develop skills and knowledge
  • Work across the Americas management team to support and develop business activity
  • Manage in region resource planning and project scheduling
  • Manage and update forecast inline with project schedule and planning
  • Develop process and ways of working with central PMO team
  • Deliver revenue inline with the business plan

 

What you need to have:

  • 7+ years of relevant business experience managing project portfolio and project management teams  
  • Good communication skills and able to work with multiple stake holders across a broad range of customer projects
  • Able to take the initiative and drive projects inline with the project schedule and plan
  • Result oriented and performance driven profile able to formulate mid-term ambition coupled with short term actionable project plans.
  • Effective leadership style having excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Proven experience managing business across multiple countries
  • Inclusive communication style to promote constructive discussions and efficient alignment with local and central stakeholders.
