As manufacturer of gear pumps, pelletizing and filtration systems and also pulverizers we offer top-grade equipment for your demanding requirements – not only for polymer applications, but also for the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and food industry.

The Sales Manager Polymer is responsible for sales within the America’s Polymer Market Segment, with a focus on selling new equipment solutions, upgrades and spare parts packages from the Maag Group product portfolio.  Such selling efforts includes maintaining good business relationships with key polymer market accounts, as well as growing sales by winning back old customers and hunting/developing new customers.  In coordination and conjunction with the Business Leader, the Sales Manager is tasked to focus on polymer market opportunities. For example, a comprehensive review of lost customers will be an ongoing priority to fully understand why they switched away from us and what is needed to gain their business back: value-based selling will be the basis for adjusting our business approach. As Maag develops the Polymer Market Sales model, the Sales Manager will be asked to provide frequent constructive feedback to Management.  This feedback will help Product and System Development to understand what innovations or adjustments are needed for future success in that market.  To better support our customers having complex systems, the Sales Manager Polymer will be largely supported by the Maag Solutioning Group.  This support includes Solutioning having direct customer contact to review specifications in order to provide the best product solution for the customer.  Maag Sales Manager Polymer will be a key part of the team that allows Maag to bring value-based systems to our customers. Products to become familiar with are pumps, filtration, pelletizing systems, AMN large dies, large dryers. Spare parts and aftermarket services will remain a part of overall customer care. The position will mainly be targeted to key polymer market accounts rather than geography.  However, the Business Leader may choose to have geography territory play a role in the Americas Polymer Market Strategy.
