SWEP is offering you an exciting opportunity to shape the future value creation of the Group Business Controlling team based at our Global Headquarter in Landskrona.


What you will do:
As the Group Business Controller, you will hold a critical role in visualizing and communicating our financial performance based on our strategic objectives and goals. Your mission will be to strengthen our processes, steering models and systems whilst nurturing a positive working culture and capability within the organization to support business decisions towards our financial goals. By fostering transparency and fact based decision making, you will directly contribute to the success and financial aims of SWEP.

The Business Controlling Team is the trusted advisor to decision enabling leaders, translating financial data to digestible and actionable information to underpin business and investment decisions. As an integral  part of our Finance team, you will be leading our Business Controlling team and report to our Chief Financial Officer.

 

What you will do:

Have a responsibility for continuing to drive a clear agenda and development plan for the Team function, and its team members within SWEP. You will  

 

  • Own the business processes for Strategy, Target Setting, Monthly forecasting, Business Reviews for SWEP and that align to Dover business reporting needs.  
  • Support financial decisions that look to improve business performance.
  • Through a thorough understanding our financial deliverables and SWEP business performance, take part in our Financial Closing Process.  
  • Thorugh the delivery of financial data mining processes and analysis, offer financial insights towards investment plans, their execution and follow up calculations.
  • Work on Leadrship or Controlling Ad hoc tasks that support business optimization and execution of group strategic roadmap.
  • Be a member of the Steering Committee and key financial representation for certain projects.
  • Be a part of our Pricing process.
  • Set the framework for our Group Business Steering Model that supports our ability to deliver on our strategic goals. 

 

What to Expect:

Within your first year, you will review all current working processes within the Controlling Team and ensure that all foundational requirements are digitalized and implemented to enable our delivery on financial transparency on revenue genration, insights creation and analysis to optimize the business.
 

Your background

  • Academic education in finance, accounting, business or Economic degrees.
  • At least an equivalent of 6 years of relevant work experience in business controlling within a Global Manufacturing/Industrial business covering financial planning & financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership or Team leading experience.
  • Experience in designing and driving implementation of future objectives for business planning processes.
  • Project management skills to deal with change or transformational programs.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively translate complex financial data into easily understandable and actionable insights.
  • Ability to influence and lead on financial process chnages within and across the SWEP Global Leadership teams
  • Experience of developing finance functions and improving data structure in a global setting.
  • Broad finance competence including data literacy to analyse and synthesize the data.
  • Ability to use MRP/ERP systems to generate financial data and extract and analysing complex data efficiently.
