Are you a driven and experienced engineer who wants to take a leading role in product engineering and further develop our product portfolio at SWEP? In the role of Lead Product Engineer, you will drive activities related to both new and existing products – from system setup and prototype management to design changes and advanced customizing of our products.

As a Lead Product Engineer, you will:

    • Take overall responsibility for product engineering activities within both NPD (New Product Development) and EPD (Existing Product Development), with clear leadership in the implementation.

    • Drive projects covering EDP and advanced customizing of our products including planning, implementation and follow-up. The projects typically have a duration of approximately 6 months.

    • Be responsible for reporting and presenting project status, risks and progress to the steering forum and ensure well-founded decision-making.

    • Drive global design changes on existing components. Could be to coordinate implementation in several different factories in more than one continent.

    • Manage product setups in our Product Data Management tool, Teamcenter, and coordinate prototype builds throughout the project phases.

    • Conduct product cost analyses and ensure a strong focus on standardization in all steps.

    • Work both as part of cross-functional project teams—often in close collaboration with Design and Process Engineers—and independently when required. You will report on project status and progress to the Project Manager.

You will also have the ownership of product customization, analyze business cases and assess the impact of added complexity on production. In this part of the role, you will work closely with the Sales organization and local factory teams to identify and implement the best possible solutions.

This role is full-time and based in Landskrona. We offer the flexibility that life sometimes requires, but we believe that collaboration and value creation happen best when we sit and work together from our office. You will be reporting to Product Engineering Manager based in Landskrona.
