Project Manager 

Based in Landskrona, Sweden

Are you an engaged Project Manager with a strong track record of leading cross-functional project teams within research and development? What you will do:
We are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our Product Engineering team within R&D, responsible for driving new product development projects from start to end. You will belong to the dedicated Product Engineering team, consisting of design engineers, product engineers, prototype engineers and project managers. The team is responsible for releasing new products, design changes and product updates.
As an NPD Project Manager you will be responsible for planning, leading, and monitoring NPD projects within SWEP. The role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, from idea to release, ensuring goals are met within given time frames and budgets.

Some specific areas of responsibility may be:
•    Develop project plans, set timelines, define project scope and goals. Identify necessary resources and competencies.
•    Lead cross-functional teams consisting of engineers, researchers and other experts in development, production, and marketing.
•    Monitoring project cost, as well as allocating and following up on resources.
•    Act as a bridge between different departments and stakeholders, reporting on progress using the Edison project tool. 
•    Identify and manage risks that may affect the progress and success of the project. 
•    After project completion, analyze results and document lessons learned for future projects.
 

In this role, you will get the opportunity to work closely together with many departments and colleagues in different roles – both from R&D, engineering, and production, which will give you valuable insights and a broad internal network. 
 

Your background:
•    University degree (bachelor or masters) preferably in mechanical engineering.
•    Minimum five years of project management experience, including leading more than one project simultaneously. Preferably from development projects within R&D. 
•    System knowledge from a project management software. 
•    Experience from energy industry or a production company will be seen as a merit. 
•    You are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
