What you will do

As a Thermal Engineer you will be working in the Heat Transfer & Laboratory department within R&D. You will be responsible for the thermal and hydraulic performance in new product development. Performance prediction, optimization, test planning and analysis are some main tasks as well as contributing to the development of new analysis and prediction methods & tools.

 

You will work individually but also as part of cross-functional teams within R&D where you will be an expert in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics. You will also work closely with the R&D laboratory and have regular contact with our marketing department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an expert in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics in cross functional projects
  • Be an active representative from Heat Transfer Department in various product development projects and forums.
  • Create thermal verification plans for new products
  • Ensure that we have accurate product performance in customer selections
  • Work with analysis methods and calculation routines
  • Strive to continuously enhance knowledge in the field of heat transfer and heat exchanger functionality.

 

Your Background 

  • Minimum MSc or equivalent in relevant field. 
  • Good knowledge in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, refrigeration, mathematics, statistical analysis. 
  • Work experience in relevant fields is seen as a merit.
  • Good communication skills in written and verbal English.
