General Function:

Maintains accurate customer accounts, customer credit limits, and documentation for letters of credit.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • It is every Belvac employee’s responsibility to be aware of and work with Belvac’s current documented Quality Management System as it pertains to their job requirements.
  • Coordinates with Sales and Shipping concerning customer orders.  Includes coordination concerning sales price, payment terms, shipping dates, etc.
  • Prepares and distributes customer invoices and account statements as needed.
  • Manually prepare installments as required for Machine shipments / invoices.
  • Post customer remittances and miscellaneous cash receipts.
  • Review letter of credits; copy to appropriate departments.
  • Review LC documents (prepared by Sales or Fr. Forwarder) for accuracy and adherence to LC
  • Compile documents required for LC for presentation
  • Interface with Banks as necessary.
  • Process credit memos and write-offs approved by the appropriate levels.
  • Obtain Dun & Bradstreet credit reports for new and existing customers/suppliers
  • Check customer credit references.
  • Assist Sales in reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Timely collection of past due amounts from customers.
  • Provide reports and analysis as necessary.
  • Orders monthly supplies for Finance department.
  • Supplier maintenance
  • Set up Payment Terms as advised from Sales
  • Prepare weekly reporting on the Company’s cash activities
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Education:

 

Bachelor’s degree is required.

Letter of Credit training and Collection training preferred.

 

Experience:

 

  • Four to Six years progressive experience in all phases of Accounts Receivable in a manufacturing environment is a plus. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. 
  • Experience with ERP software is required.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Recent college graduates encouraged to apply.

Work Arrangement : Onsite  

Salary Range : $50,000.00   - $60,000.00
