General Function: 


  • Provides information and support to overall Manufacturing Production Control/Planning for manufacturing and assembly operations to facilitate shipment of all products on time to commit dates.  Provides support and direction based on factual information to support operational and organizational needs to assure maximum utilization of Belvac capacity as defined through standard Production Planning methods as defined by profession.  Provides direction through scheduling manufacturing and assembly areas and out-source decisions both short and long term to assure deliveries are met. 


Primary Responsibilities:


  • It is every BPM, Inc. Employee’s responsibility to be aware of and work with Belvac's current documented Quality Management System as it pertains to their job requirements
  • Creates shop orders for assembly and manufacturing operations based on MRP requirements
  • Responsible for keying relevant system fields as required.
  • Work with shop floor employees to ensure shop orders are processed in accordance with requirements and transacted on a timely basis within IFS.
  • Confers with Vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, quality, and delivery schedule associated with sub-contract requirements.
  • Collaborates with purchasing counterparts to secure optimal pricing on subcontract services pricing.
  • Responsible for processing to conclusion, on time, all RFCA’s and RTV’s associated with shop orders created.
  • Ensure all shipments to subcontract vendors are shipped on time to meet MRP requirements.
  • Assure System Maintenance is performed, and all records are maintained and secure.
  • Understands and uses Inventory, Manufacturing, Engineering and Financial systems currently in use by BPM.
  • Other duties as assigned.
