General Function:   

  • Receives components, stocks, pulls parts and packages customer spare parts orders.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • It is every BPM, Inc. Employee’s responsibility to be aware of and work with Belvac's current documented Quality Management System as it pertains to their job requirements
  • Correctly completes and follows all required instructions on picklist for shipment of spare parts orders.
  • Processes Parts Received per procedures, including accurate entry into Belvac Inventory.
  • Maintenance of the Inventory Stock Locations, assuring properly identified parts, and consolidation of Inventory items within Stock Room.
  • Processes Parts for shipment to subcontract Vendors on a Daily Basis.
  • Participates and accountable for cycle count as directed by Inventory Control Coordinator.
  • Loads and unloads shipments as required.
  • Issues material in accordance with Stockroom work instructions.
  • Assures Packaging and preservation techniques, as defined, are followed, both incoming and outgoing.
  • Perform computer transactions, as required.
  • Exhibit proficiency, as trained, in all work instructions, both shipping, receiving, and inventory management accuracy, as instructed.
  • Maintenance of the Inventory Stock Locations, assuring properly identified parts, and consolidation of Inventory items within Stock Room.
  • Must possess some computer skills. 
  • Must be able to work and communicate in a self-motivated team environment. 
  • Must be able to work with minimal or no supervision. 
  • Must be capable of adapting to business changes, as required. 

 

Education:     HS Diploma or Equivalent Certificate

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years Shipping/Receiving experience desired.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds, safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, as needed, to effectively do activities.
  • Although all production areas have overhead cranes, on occasion Manufacturing, Stockroom and Assembly employees may choose to lift items by hand for convenience.  It is the responsibility of all employees to follow proper lifting techniques and seek help or utilize mechanical lifting aids as appropriate to avoid potential injury.
