POSITION TITLE: ADAS Product Specialist


SUMMARY: Work with the ADAS Commercial Manager and Direct Sales Team to support the installation, commissioning, and aftersales support of VSG’s ADAS equipment. Work in conjunction with our Collision Technical Support team as a technical ADAS expert supporting inquiries, specific requests for information and/or troubleshooting.




  • Perform unloading, installation, and commissioning of ADAS Equipment.

  • Train end users ADAS technicians on the operations and calibration of the VSG ADAS equipment and Navigator software.

  • Take ADAS support phone calls to provide technical support to end users and VSG’s Collision Technical Support team.

  • Perform pre-site inspections of customers locations to determine site feasibility.

  • Perform customer set-up and site commissioning of rig including Navigator cloud connections.

  • Coordinate with the direct sales support team for equipment and technician registration.

  • Communicate vehicle database issues to appropriate support teams for resolution.

  • Have a good working knowledge of vehicle ADAS calibration procedures.

  • Uninstall and decommission ADAS equipment and evaluate condition for redeployment or repair.

  • Travel as needed to perform job functions.

  • Work with the Commercial ADAS Manager to conduct product demonstrations as needed.



  • Education: High school graduate with 5 + years’ experience in customer field service, computers and computer support, mechanical/hydraulic/electric repairs. College degree in Automotive Repair Service preferred. Technical or vocational training of mechanical/technical nature preferred. Training in ADAS calibration and vehicle diagnostics preferred.

  • Experience: 2+ years work experience in ADAS Calibration service areas, vehicle diagnostics and/or customer field support. Working knowledge of diagnostic scan tools, personal computers required, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.

  • Supervision: Works under limited supervision. Predominantly handles matters on own initiative.

  • Responsibility: Exercises high degree of judgment. Questionable matters referred to Supervisor, or Manager. Must be Able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
