Position: Technical Sales Manager, Wheel Service 


Summary: Responsible for coordinating and facilitating Wheel Service training to designated customers, through classroom and hands-on instruction using Rotary-designed curricula for equipment and current repair methods.  Position will also assist with keeping all curriculum current, developing new courses, and continue growing the service network.

*This job requires significant travel, up to 70%. 



Percentage of Time 

Setting up training program logistics:  schedule training in appropriate market areas, identify facility, ensure appropriate PPE is available, prep site prior to training in a hands-on environment. (The Expert) 


Facilitate training for sales and service curricula ensuring successful sales and growth. Includes In-House and Field Training with distribution base including Rep Base. 


Work closely with National Sales Manager and Product Manager to create schedules for shows and sales/service training. 


Identify potential markets, training and sales participants including new distribution and service partners. 


Other duties as assigned. 



Experience/Job Requirements: 

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience using wheel service equipment in a repair and diagnostic environment. 

  • Experienced and comfortable with public speaking 

  • High School diploma or equivalent 

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications.   

  • Must possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills required; detail-oriented thinker.  

  • Good judgment, quick learning ability with the ability to convey confidence and diplomacy are essential characteristics.  

  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, hands-on environment.  

  • Independent and self-motivated individual who requires little supervision.  

  • Strong customer service orientation is a must.
