The Role:

 

Platform Experience Designer is responsible for the overall administration of the customer Learning Management System (LMS) as well as the administration of specific functions of the Group Learning Management System. This world-wide role, reporting into Self-Service Knowledge & Tools Manager based out of the Netherlands. The position is Global and focusses on the management, configuring, optimizing, and maintaining the LMS systems to ensure smooth and efficient learning experience for all LMS users, both internal and external. A specific requirement for the customer LMS platform is to actively drive the usage and traffic of the platform.

 

What you will do:

 

  • Configure, maintain, and update the LMS (user creation, assign user roles and permissions, manage the course catalogs, and session management).
  • Manage content: upload, publish, and archive e-learning modules (in formats: SCORM, xAPI, videos, PDFs).
  • Oversee integrations with other systems (Website, Mavenoid, SalesForce, SSO, HRIS, videoconferencing tools, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to the LMS platforms.
  • Create user guides and support material to help and train users on the LMS systems.
  • Create and maintain dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with e-learning standards suchs as; SCORM, AICC and xAPI.
  • Actively work with the internal and external LMS users to identity improvement opportunities and drive the deployment of the improvement requests.

 

What you need to have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Digital Learning, Information Systems, or instructional design.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience with the administration of learning platforms (Adobe, SAP SuccessFactors, 360Learning, TalentLMS, Cornerstone, Docebe,...).
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office 365 Applications suite
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS formats
  • Understanding of authentication systems (SSO, LDAP, OAuth).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong service-oriented mind set and a pedagogical working approach
  • Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomous as well as a team player in a matrix organization and through remote management.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend technical documentation, including product manuals, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to all levels of the organization. English speaking and writing are a must.
  • Ability to review and understand customer needs and project requirements.
