Commercial Reporting and Planning Analyst

The Role:

 

The Commercial Reporting and Planning Analyst reporting to our Zone Director, will work cross functionally to provide support on a broad range of reporting activities within our commercial and sales function as well as some involvement in financial planning. This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident in handling commercial data who wants to become a key member within our commercial function but equally progress and gain more exposure to FP&A.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Support Financial Planning and Analyst Manager with Sales Commissions, Sales Forecasts, Budgets and financial month end duties across UK, Netherlands and Belgium
  • Collaborating with the Sales teams, Marketing and functional managers and providing insightful and relevant reporting to gain a clear understanding on progress on departmental goals and strategies.
  • Support the creation of a business plan for each individual sales area / person, ensuring that we focus on core customers, prospects, and vertical markets.
  • Becoming a “Systems expert” and “Change Agent” to encourage Sales Managers and community on greater use of Sales Force and Power BI.

 

What you need to have:

 

  • Ideally degree educated with experience in a support role within a global/ multinational business.
  • IT literate, with good Excel skills and high attention to detail
  • Experience extracting data from SAP BW, Salesforce, and Power BI
  • Willingness to develop and improve processes and reporting.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
  • Strong interpersonal skills allied to a numerical dexterity.
  • English as a strong language skill is mandatory.
  • Potentially interest in studying for accountancy qualification.
