The Role


As New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Manager, you’ll be part of Markem-Imaje Inks and Consumables Product Development team, accountable for the cross-functional project development activities from technical and commercial feasibility to qualified prototypes, full commercial and industrial launch of innovative new product to market.


You’ll have an opportunity to work with all functional department managers across the Markem-Imaje organization, you will interact with Engineers, SCH, Production, Marketing, Finance and Sales, and others throughout the organization to meet the company’s technological, commercial and financial project goals while delivering the best inks to meet customer needs.


What you will do:


  • Execute successfully a portfolio of initiatives and projects that are aligned with Markem-Imaje strategic goals.
  • Accountable for the delivery of the technically and commercially viable solutions to ensure that the inks are available for manufacture and sale in line with business priorities, quality, timeline, and cost objectives.
  • Deliver projects through all the development activities including the specifications, design, integration, verification, qualification, industrialization, field trial and launch.
  • Develop a robust project plan including resources, expenses, investments...
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
  • Identify and provide leadership to resolve project execution challenges.
  • Communicate efficiently across the organization to inform and to obtain key decisions.


What you need to have:


  • BSc, MSc or PhD education level in Chemistry or Material Science.
  • Min. 3 years’ experience providing project leadership. PMI or equivalent certified preferred.
  • Ideally experience in either Inkjet formulation or Chemistry/Mat Science.
  • Experience in an international company, both related to the markets and customers served and the locations in which products are developed. 
  • Experience in matrix oriented organizational models.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, team leadership and result driven attitude.
