In this role you will… Lead activities that will achieve Sales Area after-sales targets and operational KPI’s in support of overall business objectives.

You’ll have an opportunity to… Build and manage customer relationships across multiple market segments like food, beverage pharmaceutical, to name a few.

You should possess… Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Engineering, with at least, 5 years of sales experience with proven success at presenting the value proposition  of products and services.

 

Principal Activities / Duties / Responsibilities:

•Recognize, develop and capture revenue opportunities through the sale of after-market products and services.
•Build and manage customer relationships across multiple sales channels including OEM, Direct and Strategic Accounts.
•Manage and deploy pricing strategy for all after-sales products and services within assigned territory in accordance and consistent with company pricing guidelines, policies and strategies.
•Record and manage all sales related activities, leads and opportunities within Salesforce CRM system per company policy and guidelines.
•Champion the local efforts and activities with Sales and Service teams to update and accurately maintain the equipment install base according to business rules and methods.
•Promote and administer after-sales loyalty programs and consumable contracts.
•Lead the phase in/phase out and conversion of consumable and after-sales products within assigned Sales Area, working with Sales and Service to communicate and carryout required activities.

 

Position/Job Requirements:

•Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management skills with a strong commitment to customer service
•Proven sales negotiation skills and sales process fundamentals
•Familiarity with business process flows and operation of ERP, BI and Sales CRM systems.
•Knowledge and work experience within fast moving consumer goods and packaging industry
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Bi-lingual in French and English (Written and spoken) is a must.
•Able to work and make decisions independently and without immediate supervision or guidance with good time management skills
•Demonstrate effective territory management, able to plan and organize schedule effectively to meet objectives of role

 

Work Conditions:

•The role requires travel throughout the assigned territory, up to 40%.
•Overnight travel and flexible work schedule will be required.
•Noise levels at customer sites can be moderate to loud
•Exposure to hazardous materials; this includes Markem-Imaje inks and solvents
•Capable of lifting and moving machinery and inventory items that weigh up to 50 pounds
•Potential for extreme temperature and diverse environmental conditions at customer sites
•Locations:  Successful candidate will either be based out of a home office or work out of the Montreal or Toronto M-I office
