The Global Compliance Program Manager closely collaborates with the Chief Compliance and Sustainability Officer in leading the design, maintenance, documentation and communication of the MI Compliance and Sustainability Program and driving the culture. This high visibility role works well at all levels of the organization. It directly ensures that  policies, procedures, work instructions and training materials are effective, current and auditable. The role ensures the effective integration of acquisitions and the onboarding of key employees. It effectively addresses audit expectations, including the handling of audit preparation through to remediation.

 

What you’ll do:


•    Leads design, maintenance, documentation and communication of the MI  Compliance and Sustainability Program in close collaboration with the Chief Compliance and Sustainability Officer, Compliance Legal Counsel & Regional Compliance Managers, Dover Legal & Compliance as well as Divisional  and Functional Experts.
•    Builds effective mechanisms that ensure the Compliance and Sustainability Office stays updated on new and changing laws and regulations as well as business activities and processes.
•    Assists in the effective integration of acquisitions and key new joiners.
•    Drives the development and maintenance of intranet and MI website content for compliance and sustainability, develops effective communication material to drive the cultural change, this includes training and presentation material.
•    Effectively addresses audit expectations, from the handling of audit preparation through to effective remediation, acts as first point of contact for Dover Corporate Audit and MI Internal Control.. 
•    Creates and updates ongoing all Compliance and Sustainability level documents in the data management tool/DMT, ensures naming conventions and revision controls are strictly complied with, ensures all documentation is auditable, develops a self-assessment tool and leads regular self reviews and pre-audits.
•    Proactively seeks to identify and complete tasks and projects that support company objectives and the advancement of the Global Compliance and Sustainability program.
•    Effectively  leads or supports the Compliance and Sustainability Officer in completion of global safety, compliance and sustainability projects and initiatives.

 

What you need to have 


•    Degree in Engineering, International Trade, Law or related field/equivalent qualification.
•    5-7 years of compliance, internal controls, corporate audit or similar background in multinational organization.
•    Highly motivated, engaged and self-driven. Knowledge and skills to continuously review, design and deploy effective Compliance Programs with a strong focus on trade, customs, and an awareness for safety and sustainability
•    Ability to understand and interpret complex compliance laws & regulations
•    Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Office as well as ERP Systems (ideally SAP)
•    Decisive leadership style that drives change, fosters safety & compliance and drives best practices, ability to lead international teams.
•    Collaborative approach that drives to global, interdisciplinary solutions. Experience in leading and managing projects, meet deadlines and deliver.
•    Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements in simple terms to improve efficiencies and enable employees to quickly grasp the concepts.
•    Excellent influencing skills in working with x-cultural teams and excellent oral and written communication skills, Fluent English language skills a must, other languages a plus.
