Product Training Developer / Program Leader

The Training Program Creator is responsible and accountable for; creating the product sales and product technical training programs, defining and implementing the training tools and methods as well as managing the training events for the Thermal Transfer Product Division.

You will define, create and deliver the training and digital learning to the Global Operations teams for international roll-out. You will be constantly looking for ways of improving the training content through new approaches, new technologies and an up to date understanding of the theory of learning. Through standard methods and best practices, the key objective is to ensure high quality, globally consistent, and ultimately successful product training.

What you’ll do:

• Single Point of Contact on all Product Sales & Technical Training Programs for the assigned products and technologies
• Continually looking for new technologies, methods and tools for creating and delivering training in a global environment

• Content creation
  • Develop the Technical Training Materials to support new product launches, induction program, refresher training requests, and other product related training requirements from the Product Division.
  • Support and assist Product Managers and MarComms on the development of Product Sales Training Packages associated to the new product launches, induction program, refresher training request, etc.

• Logistics and delivery
  • Manage and drive the training programs for all new product introductions (including scheduling, content, logistics and attendees)
  • Conduct post launch reviews, assign actions and track changes
  • Perform both the train-the-trainer and or direct training classes – in all geographies – as required
  • Responsible to ensuring Regional Sales and Technical workforce are properly trained by liaising directly with the Regional Training Manager
  • Keep and maintain all training materials on assigned products and technologies up-to-date and relevant ensuring the operations team are adequately trained
  • Work closely with the regions and global training team to assess product training needs.

What you need to have:

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline (other qualifications will be considered if accompanied by relevant experience)
• 5 years’ experience in professional training and/or Network Development
• Strong project management skills and ability to lead and work within global cross functional team or projects
• Program/learning experience in similar context with a proven track record of designing and deploying blended learning solutions, or stand-alone digital learning solutions.
• Experienced with creating on-line training materials, both live-streaming and off-line
• Digital fluency and comfortable with digital learning platforms
• Familiarity on solution & consultative selling approach is a plus
