System Integration Engineer

The Role:

 

Reporting to the Global System Integration Leader, the System Integration Engineer role is to ensure, at System level, the maturity and non-regression of our standard components. Based in Nottingham, he will be especially focusing on the components integrated in our existing or future printers.

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Work with system cross-functional teams on the integration of electronic and software modules
  • Develop and execute Validation Plans. Deliver associated test results
  • Develop and implement integration and test methodology
  • Improve test automation and coverage
  • Measure system performance in accordance with project requirements
  • Implement common system integration and testing methodologies across different product lines

 

 

What you need to have:

 

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or similar technical training
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar position within an industrial, multicultural environment.
  • Experience working with Systems Engineering, understanding of requirements definition through system design, integration, verification, and validation
  • Minimum intermediate level in software:  C++ and Python
  • Experience in participating to a team working according to DevOps and using Git version control system.
  • Experience in testing tools such as Fitnesse and qTest or similar tools
  • Good general techncial knowledge in electronics.
  • Knowledge of software and firmware integration
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Knowledge in basics tools: Microsoft Office, JIRA, SAP is a plus
  • Good communications skills both verbal and written
  • Some basics in French language is a plus.
