Position Summary:

The PSG Regional Sales Director (RSD) directs the sales development of an assigned region by directly managing a team of sales professionals with specified account responsibility. The RSD manages distributor and direct sales representative relationships by working closely with multiple departments in developing strategic plans that drive revenue and share growth, promotes the brand, products and image, supports sales programs and policies, and reports results to management.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads a team of sales professionals setting vision and strategy for the team. Serves as role model through coaching and development of his/her direct reports.
  • Responsible for achievement of sales quota by PSG brand and/or technology in assigned region through personal account growth responsibility and that of team.                             
  • Develops and executes annual revenue plan, including providing quarterly, semi-annual and annual formal business report outs.
  • Organizes and coordinates regional sales by administering and communicating policies, procedures, and objectives through independent reps, distributors and direct channel sales representatives.
  • Develops and maintains a strong relationship built on mutual trust, respect and cooperation with direct customers and other channel partners, distribution management and strategic accounts.              
  • Reviews distributors, sales agents and direct channel sales representative’s sales performance on a regular basis through quarterly, mid-year and annual business reviews, identifying areas of improvement and making changes were needed.
  • Manage actual and potential channel conflict.
  • Meets with sales organization, distributors, sales agents and customers on a regular basis to keep them informed about products, product lines, and production capabilities.
  • Participate and represent in regional thought leadership events, including trade shows and industry events. 
  • Liaison with product management, marketing, customer care, product development and applications engineering staff including joint sales calls and consistent communication and updates from the field
  • Responsible for managing contract negotiations with distributors, brokers and end-users while working closely with the company legal department.
  • Effectively manage utilization of CRM tools, both to manage personal opportunities as well as team opportunities, including closing marketing & tech service generated leads.           



Travel:  60% requirement.  

Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) highly desired or equivalent experience in Sales capacity


  • 5+ years of experience in direct customer sales
  • Experience managing others (direct or indirect)
  • Experience managing distribution and working with strategic accounts preferred
  • Specific Skills: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), HRIS, CRM
  • Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: CFSP, CWS or WQA certified a plus
