SUMMARY:

 

The Operations Coordinator supports Cook Compression US Services operations by performing a variety of administrative and operational duties for their assigned location(s). Responsibilities may include processing work orders, inventory duties, procurement transactions, scheduling, and customer service activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate customer service activities to include the processing of work orders, quotes for service, spare parts, and entering customer purchase orders.
  • Coordinates, plans, and schedules all US Services jobs which may include purchase order creation for spare parts and outside services, processing transfers from Cook Compression sister facilities, and managing logistics for site.
  • Monitors, maintains, and updates company service job logs WIP (Work In Progress)
  • Manages customer satisfaction by ensuring that USS fulfils its obligations in meeting customer delivery and quality requirements.
  • Manages the US Services order process in a timely manner from quotation to invoicing and cash collection.
  • Manages all required reporting and documentation.
  • Manages inventory by conducting regular cycle counts and updating bin stock locations for spare parts and components to ensure proper safety stock is maintained.
  • Ensures all necessary data has been registered in a timely manner in the system(s).
  • Cooperates and coordinates activities with other Dover groups to harmonize US Services activities to ensure satisfactory customer experience.
  • Conduct general and clerical office tasks as assigned.
  • Assisting the plant supervisor by organizing parts for repair jobs by due date.
  • Work cross-functionally with manufacturing and other shops to coordinate repair work to meet due dates.
  • Pull and tag parts according to SRO.
  • Manage inventory related to the shop locations.
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties.
  • Work with supervisor to prioritize service work and organize SRO’s accordingly.
  • Utilize and oversee parts requisition process.
  • Work with supervisor and sales team to prioritize shop work and report out accordingly.

Education:

  • Minimum High School Diploma and 2 years’ experience in related field; prior customer service experience and/or operations or service coordination is required.
  • Alternatively, possess a special combination of education & Experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent written & Verbal communication Skills
  • Excellent organization Skills, Detail Oriented
  • ERP Experience (Syteline preferred)
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Analyze issues and use of sound judgment.
  • Scheduling and coordination skills
