Job Title: Talent Acquisition Business Partner

The Talent Acquisition Partner will provide a world class experience for our candidates and our hiring leaders. This role will primarily recruiter for key searches within the AMS Group, a division of Dover Food Retail.
What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

Accountable for directly sourcing, interviewing, and presenting highly specialized professional talent

Partnering with Human Resources and Hiring Managers to determine workforce needs- current and future openings and job specific criteria

Acting as a consultant and single point of contact to the Hiring Manager

Conducting search engagement meetings (Intake Meeting)

Providing weekly status updates to hiring managers, HR, and Talent Acquisition Leadership

Assessing risks/challenges, and driving resolution to challenges

Understanding key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activities and build effective strategies to meet goals

Leveraging external market data, vendors, sourcing channels and the latest technology available to quickly make competitive talent pools

Managing the interview process and ensuring qualified candidates are presented as well as managing feedback to candidates

Recruits cross-functionally and at various levels within the organization.

Utilizes various recruitment tools to source talent and build candidate pipelines, including internal applicant tracking system, employee referrals, job boards, LinkedIn, networking, research, cold calling, job fairs and other sourcing strategies as required.

Creates a memorable candidate experience by energizing candidates around the organization’s employment value proposition.

Independently interviews and evaluates candidates, both internal and external, and refers qualified applicants to hiring managers for consideration. May also conduct onsite interviews as required.

Conducts debrief meetings with the hiring managers and teams on candidate selection.

Will leverage our internal HR system to facilitate background checks, drug screens, and general posting and on-boarding requirements.

Maintains relationship with inactive/passive candidates and builds a network of strong talent in the marketplace.

Provides ongoing communication with Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, and where necessary, key stakeholders on status of candidates and progress.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
What are the basic qualifications?
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
-
4+ years full life cycle recruitment experience
-
2+ years’ recruitment experience supporting skilled trades, construction, or manufacturing operations
-
Bilingual, English and Spanish
What are the preferred qualifications?
-
Prior experience recruiting for multiple locations simultaneously
-
Experience adhering to OFCCP regulations

Experience with various recruitment sourcing techniques (i.e. LinkedIn, specialty sites, employee referrals, cold calling, job fairs, etc.)

A working knowledge of Internet recruiting technology and solid computer proficiency.

Demonstrated success in building credible relationships and proactively partnering with business leaders throughout the recruitment and selection process.

Detail oriented with exceptional time management skills and accuracy in presentation of information.

Knowledge of current employment laws and legislation.

Highly effective communication skills (verbal & written) with strong interpersonal effectiveness and the ability to work with all levels of management and employees

Leverages internal HR system to facilitate background checks, drug screens, and general posting and on-boarding requirements.

Maintains reports and analyzes recruiting statistics to track progress and review with leadership; provides recommendations based on analysis.
