POSITION SUMMARY:
The Parts Warehouse Clerk is responsible for, but not limited to, the shipping and receiving tasks related to the Parts Department. This position receives various requests and will be required to closely interact with departmental managers and team members in support of field operational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Responsible for the Parts Department cage, where inventory is held.
- Deliver parts to customers on a daily basis.
- Receive parts for inventory and other departments as they come in from various vendors.
- Distribute parts and materials to the appropriate people and departments.
- Store and label parts as they come in.
- Properly log all packages received.
- Work with the Department Manager to keep inventory stocked up.
- Work with the Parts Specialist to learn our quoting system.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Excel, Word, and capable of learning other personal computer applications.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills, able to communicate effectively and expeditiously while maintaining professional conduct with all levels of the organization as well as third parties.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to operate general office equipment.
- Be a champion of safety - must abide by all safety protocol and be an example to others when safety is an issue.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High Scholl Dipoma or GED.
- Some experience in shipping/receiving and parts management in a warehouse environment.

This position works in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, tools or controls, and telephone to talk and hear; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stop, crouch and kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, color and peripheral vision.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Employee must be capable of performing their responsibilities with minimal supervision.
