Job Summary:

This position works closely with Biopharma manufacturers to aid in the validation and specification of our single-use connection technology into as many of their applications as possible. The ideal candidate will be the technical Subject Matter Expert, in addition to having a strong sales acumen for identifying and developing opportunities. The candidate will work strategically with our bio end user customers while also being a resource for our specialty bio distributors, integrators and OEM’s. This remote, home based position reports directly to the Northeast Senior Applications Development Manager in the Northeast and will cover the Northeast portion of the US.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

•    Identify and develop opportunities within multiple bio end user accounts within the East Coast of the U.S.
•    Build strong relationships and networking with key end customers, influencers and channel partners.
•    Conduct regular on-site product training and information sessions for Biopharma customers  (End Users, OEM’s and Distributors). 
•    Manage key end user manufacturing accounts and become not only their first point of contact, but an eventual trusted advisor.
•    Develop strategies for penetration, expansion, and adoption of our products in all platforms in the end user network
•    Work within a “Pull” strategy where you develop the specifications throughout the end user network that eventually gets sourced through our global OEM’s, integrators and distributors.
•    Be a strong technical resource for our specialty bio distributors, integrators and OEM’s. 
•    Fully understand and effectively map the Biopharma network within the Northeast from the channel partner to the application use at the end user. Provide visibility to where all CPC Bio connectors are being used in customer process.
•    Work closely and collaboratively with other global CPC Bio personnel to aid in the management of key global accounts to leverage validation and application successes.

•    Work with Product Management and the Business Development Manager to aid in VOC of customer needs and potential new technologies that can future grow CPC’s presence in the market.
•    Leverage CRM to manage customer accounts, opportunities, application details and large account management. Become fully conversant with CPC’s CRM tool to drive efficient communication with the team.

•    Build brand awareness, track market trends and ongoing customer requirements.
•    Actively participate in regional Biopharma events and trade shows.

Required Education/Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Biology or related business, science or engineering degree (technical degree preferred)
•    3+ years working knowledge of biopharmaceutical and/or Cell and Gene therapy production processes with a focus on single-use technology.

Required Job Qualifications:
•    Strong technical skills with a focus on Biology, microbiology, engineering process development and/or plastics.
Understanding of Biopharma manufacturing process, both upstream and downstream, and how single-use benefits the overall process of clinical and cGMP production.
•    Ability to deal
effectively and professionally with all levels of the end user organizations from the operator all the way to upper management.

•    Ability to work with small startup companies as effectively as large organizations.
•    Professional self-starter who thrives in working in an autonomous environment and actively looking for opportunities to grow the business.

•    Ability to seek new business and customers in a competitive market.
•    Must have strong time management skills
•    A solid sales acumen, with ability to promote “value.”
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills with a customer centric mentality.
•    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal groups and external customers.
•    Strong written and oral English communication skills
•    Exceptional project management skills.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
•    Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain formal programs for large account management.
•    Experience with multiple channels of supply including distribution, integrators and OEM’s.

•    Previous employment at a Biopharma manufacturer or single-use systems supplier.
•    Understanding of ISO, GMP and other regulatory requirements.
•    Experience with CRM programs.
•    Ability to leverage social media
