Principal Activities/Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement product strategies consistent with the company vision and values.
  • Plan and drive product launch deliverables to support engineering, sales, marketing, and go-to-market.
  • Own and manage the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to create meaningful product messaging and to produce product data sheets, white papers, battlecards, and other collateral. 
  • Manage the backlog of product requirements through input from customers, prospects, partners, Sales, Customer Support, Engineering, Marketing, external market trends and competitors.
  • Work closely with Product owners to ensure successful transfer of requirements knowledge to engineering.
  • Manage global pricing models and pricebook for the product in conjunction with commercial (if applicable).
  • Provide in-depth product and competitive analyses for use in both product strategy and sales / marketing positioning.
  • Present at customer briefings, industry conferences, Industry analyst briefings and other public-speaking forums.
  • Prioritize enhancements and roadmaps.

 

Education and/or Experience Required

  • BS or higher in Technology, Engineering, Business or similar.
  • At least 5 years of proven work experience in a product management role.
  • Experience with software technologies such as cloud, mobile, vision systems.
  • Strong product strategy experience.
  • Experience taking a product from conception to launch and generating revenue.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Intercultural competence and willingness to work in a team.
