Systech is seeking a full-time, experienced Sales Strategy & Planning Analyst to join our team.

 

The Sales Strategy & Planning Analyst for Global Sales reports to the VP of Sales and will be responsible for producing analysis and reporting to drive growth and profitability for our business. The Strategy Analyst is responsible for leveraging data to generate actionable insights relating to growing sales.

 

Key areas of focus for analysis and reporting include customer acquisition, optimizing share of wallet with existing customers, and customer retention. The Strategy Analyst will work cross functionally, primarily with sales, marketing, and finance, and should be able to influence and work well with others without direct authority. With high exposure to leadership this role requires the ability to effectively articulate a viewpoint and will need high attention to detail with excellent communication and presentation skills

As our Sales Strategy & Planning Analyst you will:

 

  • Partner with Senior Sales leadership to drive market + segment specific analyses to uncover insight
  • Conceptualize and pilot new programs to test the effectiveness of various sales roles  and comp plans
  • Interpret business challenges related to our customer base; Drive strategic initiatives and custom analyses to address them
  • Lead the use of data as a story, translating complex analytical work into easy to understand insights and recommendations
  • Develop impactful, measurable strategies through rigorous analysis to drive revenue growth and meaningful interactions with customers
  • Create living, breathing documentation for strategic initiatives to track progress against our goals
  • Present key strategies to executives and department leaders; ensure day-to-day strategic alignment for those initiatives
  • Lead workstreams with cross-functional teams as necessary to ensure we are bringing the best thinking to key initiatives
  • Become a subject matter expert on our sales and go-to-market strategy

 

Skills & Experience:

 

  • 2-4+ years’ experience in sales strategy, marketing strategy and sales operations
  • Expertise in recurring revenue business models and / or familiarity with B2B software is a plus
  • Experience leading strategic projects and providing solutions-oriented findings
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with ability to work across multiple sources of data; Excel / PowerPoint ninja
  • Strong experience with Salesforce
  • Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional partners (Sales, Finance, Marketing, Systems, etc.)
  • Possess a consultative mentality and a true willingness to deep dive to fully understand business requirements
  • Demonstrated problem-solving & analytical skills and ability to show good judgment in decision making
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in an efficient professional manner while meeting deadlines
