As a member of the Sales team, the Solution Consultant (SC) is responsible for conceptualizing and designing robust and scalable Track and Trace solutions that align with our client’s strategy and support their long-term growth goals. The SC will support direct and partner sales opportunities, giving technical input & providing appropriate solutions based on customer needs.
This role shall include the responsibility to convert customer requirements into a state-of-the-art solution which includes both a software architecture as well as a professional services scope of work that will enable our customers to benefit from industry-leading Systech technology
Key deliverables include high-level system design, workflows, and software architecture for Systech’s cloud-based Traceability solution; UniTrace. The Solution Consultant will determine the most appropriate product solutions while adhering to best practice conventions and industry standards where applicable. The result of these efforts will be evaluation reports, solution designs, and scope of work definitions that will enable the Sales team to quote the project and the Professional Services group to successfully deploy the solutions.
The successful candidate will have advanced communication skills, as well as an innate ability to simplify complex technical concepts and apply them to customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help Systech Sales teams drive revenue and exceed targets
- Assimilate customer requirements and translate them into a Systech workflow solution modifying solutions using our low code / no code application.
- Write technical design documents where required, and respond to RFI/RFPs
- Design and document business processes to identify appropriate configurations, integration points, and event triggers.
- Provide subject matter expertise on UniTrace data interfaces.
- Review, create, edit, and test customer interfaces in various formats (CSV, XML, JSON, etc.).
- Support user deployment testing activities such as troubleshooting, reading error messages, and ensuring the expected results are delivered.
- Provide guidance on how global government regulations impact UniTrace configurations.
- Log product enhancements and defects into the Systech tracking systems.
- Be conversant in Systech’s other technology solutions
- Serve as the lead strategist for all implementation, customization, and integration requirements
- Help to determine customer requirements such that correct system configuration can be determined prior to quotation.
- Responsible for working with Professional Services in producing quotes.
- Responsible for smooth handover of solution design to Professional Services, or partners for implementation
- Arrange & perform product demonstrations
- The position involves approximately 40% travel, both domestically and internationally
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledgeable of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA)
- Able to read, parse, and manipulate various technical formats such as XML, JSON, and CSV.
- Working general knowledge of python, JSON structures, and XSLT stylesheets.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs,
- Working knowledge of XML and B2B technologies such as AS2 and SFTP.
- Working knowledge of Web Services (WSDL, SOAP, etc.).
- Able to use debugging software.
- Able to work on and identify multiple solutions to various use cases and problems that may arise.
- Knowledge of Engineering drawing & working knowledge of ACAD.
- Comfortable engaging with customers directly and effectively.
- Must be comfortable in a highly dynamic environment, working with a variety of disciplines

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Electrical, Computer, Software, or Automation
- 5 + years of practical Engineering experience working with Cloud-Based Solutions preferred
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Products (Office, Outlook, SharePoint), Salesforce, and other industry-standard collaboration tools.
