Job Summary: The Vice President of Sales, North America, will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy, leading a high-performing sales team, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in SaaS sales and expertise in the supply chain industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a dynamic sales team, including account executives and sales managers, to achieve and exceed sales targets.  Experience with Global Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Inside Sales is very valuable in this role.
  • Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: This is a small organization that needs to grow and expand.  You will be tasked with determining what is required in the go-to-market effort rather than being asked to execute the same plan year over year.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive new customer acquisition, expand existing accounts, and reduce churn to meet revenue objectives.
  • Market Insights: Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the development and management of a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Customer Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and partners, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point.  This is a lead-from-the-front type of role, and customer-facing activities are critical.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in SaaS sales, with a focus on supply chain solutions.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of building and scaling sales teams.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
  • Significant travel required.

Location: Northeast United States is preferred.
