What we are looking for: 
We are looking for a Brake Operator –who will be responsible for operating a press brake and ensure proper tools for machine set up in the prescribed time and to specified quality standards.

 
What you will be responsible for in this role:  
•    Able to operate a press brake.
•    Have a working knowledge of the proper tools for machine set up
•    Able to complete basic math and computer skills.
•    Ability to comprehend blueprints.
•    Work with small hand tools.
•    Duties as assigned.
•    Completes required production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
•    Reports any unsafe working conditions to the production supervisor.
•    Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly workspace.
 
What are the basic qualifications?
•    HS Diploma/GED
•    Minimum six months’ experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment
•    Able to read rulers, tape measures, metal squares and other measuring instruments

What are the preferred qualifications? 
•    At least one year of experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment
•    Prior experience with CNC equipment

Essential Physical/Environmental Requirements
•    Must be able to operate power tools and perform tasks that require fine motor skills (ex: threading nuts onto bolts, starting a screw, etc.)
•    May be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting or kneeling.
•    Must be able to lift with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis (up to 30 lbs).
•    Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
