The Key Account Manager is responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term relationships with some of Inpro/Seal’s strategic customers. This role will entail a thorough understanding of customer requirements to promote our solutions that meet customer needs. This person will provide strategic global commercial and technical support for various levels of stakeholders and customers. 




  • Generates new business and ensures growth of existing accounts.
  • Facilitates and directs technical training for clients, promoting new Inpro/Seal technology where applicable.
  • Reviews, analyzes and communicates customer feedback regarding product development.
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies along with communicating and implementing pricing strategies.
  • Actively engages with Customer inquiries for new applications and solutions.
  • Responsible for forecasting, and account planning.
  • Become a resident expert regarding customer location, products, technology and communicate to sales department via regularly schedule meetings via conference call and Skype.
  • Develop cross functional relationships within the customer at various levels.  Including but not limited to engineering, purchasing, product management and operations departments.
  • Develop strong peer-to-peer working relationships within Inpro/Seal global field sales team, coordinating local support at relationship building at key customer locations
  • Develop and maintain key account strategic plan for pumps on a quarterly schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned.




  • Technical sales background and knowledge of process and system hydraulics.
  • Working knowledge with Centrifugal pumps, Rotary Gear Pumps, PC Pumps, Positive Displacement Pumps, Vacuum Pumps, and Chemical Pumps.
  • Experience reading and translating engineering prints, working with relevant Codes and Standards, e.g., NEC, NEMA, ANSI, ASTM, etc.
  • Knowledge of the pump Industry and products
  • Success selling in the OEM sector;
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to effectively interact with various levels of the organization with a logical and organized approach.
  • Must have the mechanical aptitude to learn the technical nature of company products.
  • Must have a sense of urgency.
  • Must be extremely flexible to adjust to continually changing market demands
  • Intrinsically motivated and capable of managing multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes.
  • Proficient with all forms of communication including informal and formal presentation, written, and oral, with the ability to clearly articulate and influence across all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve, think analytically, and implement solutions to complex problems.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering and /or Relevant Industrial Sales; Master’s degree preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience in similar role with proven growth.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with a strong focus on Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Syteline a plus.
  • Experience in bearing isolator sales strongly preferred
