I. SUMMARY:

Provides support for all value streams within the plant.

 

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Second shift Support - Properly complete required paperwork. Participate in daily preventative maintenance and cleaning schedule. Cross-train in multiple departmental function. Ability to multi-task and work within a fast paced environment.

Monday - Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm, some overtime and Saturdays required.

 

III. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

 

IV. QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Basic computer skills. Maintains a positive attitude towards team members and the organization. Reinforces other's efforts and meets commitments to the team. Looks for solutions versus blame. Looks for opportunities to help or service other departments. Diffuses high-tension situations effectively and communicates with diplomacy and tact.

 

V. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with experience in industrial manufacturing.

 

VI. LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

VII. REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
