Job Summary: 

This role will be responsible for the building of, deployment, decomisioning and/or refurbishment and ongoing support of automated assembly solutions.This position will focus on improvements to current systems and methods through the identifying of new technologies or processes.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Effectively document the Operating and Maintenance procedures of new and existing equipment
  • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance work cell productivity
  • Must be familiar with programming PLC’s, , fiber optic sensors, and vibratory systems (tracks and bowls).
  • Troubleshoot equipment,repair or replace circuit boards, sensors, controllers, encoders, servomotors, or valves.
  • Understands and properly utilizes instructions, drawings, schematics, blueprints, specifications and instruction manuals regarding use and maintaining proper function of manufacturing systems and equipment. 
  • Design and fabricate small fixtures for equipment.
  • Assembly of machinery
  • Support process validation plans (IQ, OQ, PQ) designed by engineers.
  • Routine machine and tool maintenance and repair duties as required.
  • Adheres to all safety regulations.
  • Demonstrates support of CPC core values.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.
    Essential Supervisory Responsibilities:   
    Required Job Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary education in manufacturing systems/technology or related
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in applicable maintenance or automation experience.
  • Strong Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated previous use of programmable logic controllers (PLC) (Allen Bradley, Mistusbishi, or others a plus)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree in manufacturing systems/technology.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
  • Familiar with solid modeling CAD software
  • Experience running a lathe and mill.
  • Cognex vision systems.
  • Keyence vision systems.
  • Experience with 3D printing systems
  • Up to 10%
