Job Summary:

The Cell Lead position reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for production execution, hour by hour charts and other responsibilities to support the CPC business. The Cell Leads will support Assemblers by focusing on on-the-floor training, development, and production execution.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Achieve certification on all processes (Cell) and maintain knowledge of agreed standardized work.
  • Assists in providing work direction and training to area team members.
  • Coordinates the flow of materials and product through the work cell.
  • Perform internal set-up on manufacturing equipment to ensure production meets required standard and complete start/end of shift requirements in accordance with production/ quality requirement.
  • Provides for the accurate and timely reporting of data into traceability and manufacturing systems. (HR x HR)
  • Communicate and updates matrix for Gemba board. Maintain visual systems including mathematical calculations of metrics.
  • Follow up with cell leader and / or team members from previous shift to be aware of any concerns with equipment, material or personnel issue.
  • Monitor breaks and lunch to insure adherence to policies.
  • Understand product quality and makes quality minded decisions.
  • Responsible for his/ her own, as well as his/ her team member’s safety.
  • Promote a positive team environment, recognizing colleagues where appropriate.
  • Ensure necessary materials are available at the cell at all times.
  • Respond urgently to any cause of cell stoppages.


Required Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Good hand/eye coordination and dexterity.
Demonstrated ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with external and internal personnel at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to accurately assemble parts using written work instructions, specifications, and assembly prints.
Basic math skills.
Ability to lift up to thirty five (35) pounds and transport material, product, or tooling around the assembly area.
Ability to rotate between all assigned assembly duties.
The ability to set up and operate machines in assembly per instructions.
Must maintain acceptable attendance, assembly rates, and working relationships


Additional requirements for cleanroom personnel: (CLEANROOM)
Ability to work in controlled environment attire including: Mask
Hood & facial hair cover
Shoe Covers
Able to work with clean room cleaning solutions.

General Assembly Training (CMT025)
Semi Auto Clip Machine (CMT021, Operating the machine)
Semi-Automatic O-Ring Machine (CMT011, Running the Machine)

General Safety Training
Quality Management Training
