ERP Business Process Lead

Job Summary:

The ERP Business Process Lead will provide ownership and oversight of CPC's ERP and ERP-related business processes and technology solutions.  They will work closely with stakeholders across the business, namely within Order Fulfillment, Logistics and Supply Chain teams to provide technology and process solutions to meet business needs.  They will be the primary liaison between the business and technical support/implementation teams (combination of internal, 3rd-party and Center of Excellence resources).  Communication, business-impact assessment & initiative prioritization, change management, process optimization and project management of Oracle Cloud implementations will also be a critical component of this role.



  • Evaluate business processes and identify where ERP out-of-the-box functionality can be utilized or where business process change and/or system development is needed to achieve business objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to increase functional & user efficiency and derive value within CPC's business systems
  • Measure system effectiveness against business-outcomes; develop continuous improvement plans and oversee execution to increase technology adoption, ease of use, and drive overall process efficiency
  • Inform and drive ERP strategy
  • Work with the business to understand and update business process flows
  • Act as primary liaison between the business users and technology providers
  • Create and Lead Oracle SME team for CPC
  • Serve as local subject matter expert on CPC's Oracle ERP environment
  • Successfully execute on organizational change management efforts in relation to ERP process changes
  • Assist in business expansion activities and M&A as it relates to ERP system changes
  • Manage Oracle Cloud migration projects by coordinating efforts between the CPC business users, technical developers, 3rd party partners and Oracle resources
  • Help develop training curricula for new joiners and for existing users when new features are promoted


Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, IS or related field
  • Established track record of analyzing business processes and identifying solutions
  • In-depth experience in one or more ERP processes -- Order Management, Inventory, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Warehouse Management
  • A minimum of 5 years working in ERP systems support and enhancement
  • Experience working at a manufacturing company
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills -- ability to run effective meetings and drive results with large, diverse teams

Preferred qualifications

  • Functional expertise in Oracle EBS -- preferably R12
  • Prior technical project management experience -- system integrations
  • Experience with Microsoft Project including both updating and creating a project from scratch
  • Working knowledge of SQL programing
  • Supporting a business that has multi orgs structure including foreign entities
  • Oracle Cloud experience
