Materials Lead - 2nd shift

Job Summary: This position is responsible for leadership and direction of the material movement team as well as all finished good inventory storage, accuracy and customer shipments. Should provide coaching, direction and training to Material Coordinators and provide recommendations for staffing levels, work times, problem resolution and daily logistics operations.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Experience Oracle user with knowledge of shipping and inventory management modules
  • Maintains accurate records and follows established procedures.
  • Maintains competency in all Logistics functions.
  • Maintain acceptable working relationships, attendance and punctuality.
  • Effectively communicate daily with Managers and Supervisors and across functions.
  • Act as liaison to help solve issues.
  • Adheres to all safety regulations.
  • Demonstrates support of Dover core values.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.

 

Essential Supervisory Responsibilities:       

  • Leads and coaches other Material Coordinators and directs daily duties.

 

Required Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three plus years ERP experience
  • One plus year Oracle experience
  • Supervisor/lead experience
  • Minimum 3 years truck driving experience
  • Minimum 3 years forklift
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide work direction to Material Coordinators
  • Ability to provide effective feedback to Supervisors and Managers
  • Ability to communicate, problem solve and work effectively within and outside of department.

  • Inventory movement experiences
