Job Summary: 


We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing team, based in Roseville, MN.  This role is part of our Quality Planning Group (QPG) that addresses systemic quality issues related to products and processes.  As an engineer in the QPG, you will receive 6-sigma training and learn how to solve complex issues through the DMAIC process, gain experience in reporting projects to the leadership team, and improve products and processes that impact internal and external customers.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Works cross-functionally within the Quality Planning Group to execute projects to improve quality.
  • Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of product design, assembly, tooling, and materials.
  • Improves product and process quality by designing testing methods, conducting process capabilities, establishing standards, and confirming manufacturing processes.
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical discipline
  • Minimum of two (2) or more years of engineering work experience.
  • Familiar with design and process validations 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with sonic, spin, heat, injection molding or any processes requiring multiple process settings.
  • CREO CAD systems
  • Project management training or equivalent experience.
  • Experience dealing with change in a complex environment
  • Skilled at preparing and presenting technical information
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
