Sr Manager Organization Development and Change

Job Summary:  

The Senior Manager of Organizational Development and Change will lead enterprise initiatives focusing on all aspects of the people-side of change and progress in a growing and increasingly complex organization.  This includes building and deploying a balanced roadmap for Organization Development, Change Activation, and Talent Development across CPC.  This role will help shape the vision and drive a strategic, comprehensive strategy that enables organizational growth and considers the evolving employee experience and expectations.  The role plays a critical part in driving the employee experience and stewarding CPC culture.  The position reports to the VP of Human Resources.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, propose, design, and deliver organization development solutions that help CPC create a talent-based competitive advantage. See the bigger picture; identify and align interdependent systems to drive and apply structure for end-to-end sustainable change.
  • Lead and provide consultation in all areas of organizational design, change management, leadership development, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Partner closely with the Human Resources team and Leadership across the organization to integrate change management into how we work.   Manage the approach to mobilize leadership sponsors, engagement, and adoption of people-dependent changes. 
  • Champion a strong continuous improvement culture to ensure deployment of scalable, simplified, and standardized processes.
  • Coach and train managers on developing effective teams.  Build programs for leadership skills and development to enhance capabilities and satisfaction.
  • Prepare and conduct training programs, teach classes, hold seminars and discussion groups.
  • Partner with the Dover HR and across other operating companies on process, projects, organization development and change leadership.


    Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Diagnose, Design and Implement: Experience leading and implementing a variety of changes, including technical, behavioral and adaptive
  • Change Methodology: Apply change methodologies and tailors them to specific projects and initiatives. Draws on research, best practices and experiences and incorporates them into current and future strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster meaningful relationships with critical stakeholders, understand their diverse needs, expectations, concerns, and capabilities. Use adaptive techniques and messaging to motivate and influence.
  • Ambiguity: Lead with purpose, compassion, and action through ambiguous situations.  Exhibit a high level of resilience and resourcefulness
  • Culture: Model the CPC values and promote inclusive, high-performance thinking.  Establishes and nurtures numerous relationships and take actions to partner with all levels of employees across the enterprise
  • Coaching: Design strategies to encourage, develop, and support the ability of project sponsors, leaders, and people managers. Provide objective feedback and challenge assumptions in a mature and empowering manner.
  • Data and Analytics: Leverage data and analytics to drive decision making and action. Design, develop, and deploy solutions through ongoing analysis and connecting multiple data sets together to recommend action.
  • Business Fluency: Understand how the business operates. Ability to articulate the strategy, customer base, and external factors impacting the business. Discover pathways and navigates the organization’s maze to get things done
     
    Required Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Organization Development, Psychology or similar
  • 8+ years of overall change management and organizational development experience or equivalent experience in a consulting organization or in a mid to large sized Company
  • 5+ years of experience in directly driving change management initiatives within their organization or in a consulting company
  • Experience in diagnosing, designing and implementing organizational and talent development strategies.
     
    Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • Certified Change Practitioner, Prosci or similar
  • Master’s Degree or MBA
  • Experience in an HR Business Partner role
