Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Analyst, reporting to the Director of Tooling and Strategic Sourcing, will be responsible for providing analytical support within the CPC Tooling & Sourcing organization. The Analyst will set and execute an overall process for collection, analysis, management, reporting, and communication of program data and metrics. The Analyst will regularly collaborate with key program stakeholders including representatives from CPC business units and external suppliers to advance program priorities. The analyst will drive problem solving, using data to identify areas of necessary capacity expansion and make recommendations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop tools for and monitor supplier manufacturing equipment capacity
    • Translate forecast into supplier equipment and tooling needs
    • Refresh and report monthly on supplier equipment utilization
    • Build capacity models based on CPC growth scenarios
  • Provide inputs into capacity expansion roadmaps (space, equipment, personnel)
  • Develop tools for and monitor the capacity and condition of injection molds/tools
  • Maintain Master Tooling Database to ensure all data is current and accurate
  • Work with cross-functional teams in Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Tooling, and NPI to provide visibility of supplier capacity status
  • Develop good working relationships with stakeholders internal and external to the company to ensure acquisition of accurate, relevant, and timely information
  • Support additional objectives as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in supply chain, planning, or engineering
  • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, business analytics, engineering, or technical discipline
  • High proficiency in the use of Excel, Access, and other analytics / reporting tools
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and resourceful; able to work under limited supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience managing projects with medium complexity and a high-volume of data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • APICS, CPIM, or CSCP certification
  • Production or supply planning experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior Lean Manufacturing experience or certification
  • Project management experience
  • Oracle ERP experience

Travel: 10%
