Directs and coordinates activities concerned with Training & continuous improvement of all company activities, driving the organization toward efficient operations, by performing the following duties personally or through other employees. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for training of new staff in all MPG policies, Safe to start and Manufacturing Procedures (Dozuki). 

• Instill a strong foundation in 5’s, FOD & ESD. 

• Develop Training Materials for lean processes & Principles as well as other materials as necessaries. 

• Support HHRR for all Hiring requisition to support production lines 

• Completing all task set by the supervisors and assisting where possible. 

• Observing Health and safety guideline at all time 

• Facilitates and leads the continuous improvement process by identifying training needs and providing training in problem solving methodology, Kaizen, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping. 

• Engages the leadership team in setting and achieving goals utilizing Lean initiatives. 

• Participate in cost reduction projects. 

• Participate in transfer process and Implementing the concept: “Copy Exact” 

• Support Production Line Manufacturing Engineering in case needed. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Excellent communication skills in Spanish & English 

• Technical skills in lean manufacturing techniques, Kaizen, process improvement. 

• Experience in Transfer Process. 

• Experience in creating and managing a departmental budget. 

• Computer and Microsoft Office literate (Word, Excel, etc.). 

• Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of disciplines in a dynamic environment. 

Education and/or Experience  

• High school diploma or GED required. 

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical related field or equivalent experience required. 

• Five or more year’s electronic or electro-mechanical manufacturing experience required. 

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in lean manufacturing or Continuous Improvements role’s.
