Job Summary

We’re seeking a skilled and responsible Assembly Technician. This position requires an enthusiastic, mechanically inclined, team player who is able to meet and surpass production deadlines. Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Production Assembly Technician is responsible for the final assembly of all products sold by BASE Engineering. This position represents a key role in BASE’s quality management to ensure we continue to provide exceptional products to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of remote shut down systems built according to customer order
• Ability to follow CAD drawings
• Assemble harnesses, enclosures, handhelds & receivers
• Experience with light soldering

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with a general understanding of light machinery and hand tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to adapt and have a clear understanding of time management and deadlines
• A strong focus on safety is your priority
• Understanding of electrical/electronic schematics
• The ability to work well within a team environment
• You possess a general understanding of Windows, PC software and hardware
• You present professionally and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
