POSITION OVERVIEW:

 Works with a team in engineering and manufacturing environments to develop applications and services to automate and streamline processes.  Is skilled in all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including planning, requirements development, design, implementation, verification, deployment, and maintenance.

Works with stakeholders to determine business needs, propose solutions, define requirements, and quantify return on investment.  Interfaces with manufacturing to troubleshoot and address issues. Communicates with management across the organization to determine and execute priorities. Is capable of independently managing work pulling in subject matter experts as needed to accomplish goals.

 

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable degree focusing on software development.  At least 5 years of experience in software development preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Ideal candidates have experience with:

  • C#, Visual Studio, VS Code
  • WPF, WinForms
  • Database Design, SQL, Database Access Library
  • HTML, CSS, Typescript
  • Cloud, Azure, AWS
  • Lua

Skilled at producing well-designed, testable, efficient software solutions.  Capable of leading team activities to achieve common goals, objectives and group commitments.  Ability to take action in solving strategic business and technical problems in-line with the overall company goals and objectives.  Capable of managing multiple design projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  Skilled in the creation and maintenance of effective software documentation. Ability to create and execute test plans in engineering and manufacturing environments while minimizing downtime. Knowledge of test equipment including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power equipment, environmental chambers, and network analyzers is a plus.

  • Some travel required.  Support activities may require being available off-hours.  Implementation of system changes will sometimes require working non-business hours and/or weekends.
  • Moderate noise level.  Involves normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting rooms and training rooms.  Requires use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls and observance of fire regulations.  Use of Personal Protective Equipment required in designated areas. 
  • Work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.

 

 

Work Arrangement : Onsite  

Salary Range : $110,000.00   - $130,000.00
