Operating Company: Environmental Solutions Group – Soft-Pak

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project and Training Analyst provides comprehensive education to new and existing Soft-Pak users.  The individual coordinates the installation, initial set up and structure of the database, conversion of data and training of the system, providing solutions tailored to the specific needs of the company.  Delivers the highest quality of professional support services while demonstrating value to our customers.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

Major responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

 

Serve as a representative of Soft-Pak for new customers:

  • Coordinate implementation projects for new clients, from start to go live.
  • Analyze users and business needs in order to plan and execute project steps in line with clients’ requirements.
  • Listen to client needs to help them achieve a successful implementation.
  • Facilitate remote training sessions and answer questions about software functionality as needed.
  • Track and report progress of projects.
  • Document particular software processes for clients.

 

Communications with the VP of Operations:

  • Make recommendations to enhance documentation, training manuals, or other documents, whenever applicable.
  • Provide weekly ‘de-briefing’ during Training and Sales meeting, including who and what was trained, and any other pertinent details regarding training/installation at a customer’s site that would aide in future meetings, etc. 
  • Participate in periodic Departmental discussion meetings.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required or equivalent experience.
  • Waste industry experience preferred.
  • Project management experience with business analysis, training and go lives.
  • Experience with software implementations and data conversions preferred.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, documentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task to handle several projects at once.
  • Comfortable communicating within all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work from home (if desired) without close supervision.
  • Approximately 10% travel occasionally based on client needs.
