Production Documentation: Convert approved high level design drawings and 3D models into the complete production document pack for each part, comprising the foam set drawing, glass cutting instruction, glass preparation and beam wrapping instruction, and resin moulding instruction, prepared to the Fibrelite document control standard (FP, GP and RM series).
Bill of Material and Routing: Build and maintain the bill of material for every new and revised part in Oracle, covering laminate schedules, foam beam sets, resin and catalyst quantities, veil, bauxite, key housings and inserts, consumables and tooling, and establish the manufacturing routing and operation sequence.
Labour and Capacity Standards: Define standard labour content, cycle times and manning for each operation across glass cutting, pre form assembly, beam wrapping, resin injection, cure, demould and finishing, and provide the standards used for product costing, capacity planning and production scheduling.
Shopfloor Work Instructions: Author clear, illustrated work instructions and process control specifications covering resin and tool temperature, resin shots, pump stroke, catalyst ratio, cure cycle and component weight, and ensure operators are trained and that current documents are available at the point of use.
